Yea, i'm researching it all and trying to get my mom on my side in the process but havent said anything else to him about it yet just to avoid conflict. I'm not gonna like throw the information in his face but just ask him to check it out and at least think about it.

Check this out and see if i'm missing information that I should include. I want it to be a balanced argument, not one where it looks as if I'm fabricating information to my benefit.

Looks pretty good to me! And we all definitely want you to stay here at ORC! Hope everything works out!

How's the suspension and drive train in the Cummins? The engine might last a million miles, but the transmission and suspension will not. You could potentially get into a lot of money rebuilding a front end or replacing a transmission...

Front end parts are 6 months old and under lifetime warranty. Tranny has not been abused as it has been babied by an older guy since brand new. I also added "starting in cold weather" to the cummins con list. And I had to be sure to include the ORC in my argument!

I don't think starting in cold weather is a big deal. A simple block heater plugged into a timer would solve that problem.

Good to know on the front end parts. How many miles are on the truck? Babied or not, the trans is not going to last nearly as long as the engine...

Block heater is good while at home, the problem is while at college with no access to a plug in while parked. But it's very manageable. It has 148,000 miles on it. A suncoast or bullydog transmission build up with shift kit is my first big project idea for the truck though.

I think as long as you have a plan to give the tans some attention, then it sounds like a solid deal to me!
