Honestly, your truck is too clean for a lot of looks. It really depends on what you have planned for it and the overall look you want. If you want to black it out like the truck you posted before then I would just black them out completely, like the ones Robbie Bryant put on "Project Blackout."

What I really like is the Lower bumper grill.

I like the wide mouth grills but it has to be on the right truck. Like the one I posted above.

I've looked at the Rok-Tek grills but I like me some Royalty grill :D

The overall direction of the truck depends on whether or not I think the cross bars should stay.

As far as the rigid grille, I really like it as well. It's a cool idea like the mustang style ones in the f150s

I know what you're saying. But with the EPA cracking down I think building 07.5+ trucks is going to become a lot harder. Plus I'm lugging an unnecessary payment around when I could be driving something cheaper and making progress on my goal of a 900hp daily driver..... Just some thoughts.

It's official, I'm old. I installed two new Nest thermostats yesterday and I love them. One I got for Christmas and the other I bought yesterday since I like the first one so much. These things are awesome! Being able to lay in bed and turn the heat up or down is pretty sweet!

Definitely still a great looking truck, just looks different.

Well, it was never leveled, but I do miss the old look. The slope of the driveway makes it look worse than it is. I really didn't want it leveled because I don't want major ass sag when hauling and towing and putting airbags in a power wagon can get difficult and expensive because of the axle articulation.

One day when we have a better vehicle for traveling (Hopefully a 2014 Jeep GC), the Wagon will rise again! It will eventually have a full Carli suspension and 35's! If I can ever get my Diablo working, some custom tuning with a new cam would help a lot.

A buddy of mine bought a little Kawasaki 650R in the summer and recently helped his brother in law paint it. It used to be red and he wanted it to have an old fighter plane look. They painted it to look like metal pieces riveted together and added the "shark mouth" on the lower fairing. Next they are going to airbrush some old school pin-up girls on the tank and then hit it with another coat of satin clear.

Unfortunately, after I took these pics, we decided to install his fender delete kit and led tail light with integrated turn signals, so it looks MUCH better now. All of the stuff hanging off the back is now gone so it has a cleaner look.

Hey......anyone know how to wire up a 5pin relay? I'm doing my DRLs to come on when the truck is running, but turn off when I turn the headlights on.

Best way to do it is with two relays but since they draw such little current you would be ok with just one relay if you find a good source to tap into. An unused ignition switched source in the fuse box would be best.

Two relays: For relay one, wire pin 85 and 30 to ground. Pin 86 to the headlight low beam 12v wire. Pin 87a gets connected to pin 85 on relay two. For the rest of relay two, wire pin 86 to an ignition switched 12v wire. Pin 30 to the battery constant and pin 87 to the positive side of the lights.

One relay: Pin 85 to ground. Pin 86 to low beam headlight 12v wire. Pin 30 to 12v switched wire. Pin 87a to positive side of lights.

Both methods will turn the lights on with the ignition and off when the headlights come on. Remember to fuse the wires coming from the battery and switched source.

So, this is what I have, a 5 pin relay.

One relay: Pin 85 to ground (so that one on the right). Pin 86 to low beam headlight 12v wire (the one on the left). Pin 30 to 12v switched wire (so to the fuse box, lower pin on the relay). Pin 87a to positive side of lights. (middle pin, that goes to my DRLs)

So 87 isn't used at all then right? :crazy:

Lol. I can do this shit in my sleep. You are correct, pin 87 doesn't get used at all with the single relay setup.

With the coil is unenergized (pins 85 & 86), pin 30 & 87a are connected. When you energize the coil (by turning on headlights) then pin 87a opens and 87 & 30 get connected.

Here's a diagram of the inside of the relay. When the coil is energized, it magnetically pulls the arm from 87a to 87.

I was Googleing a wire diagram and came across this. I forgot about the relay already in place for the HIDs. Use my first method and just run a wire from 87a of the HID relay and use your spare relay as relay two.
