I literally just found out that someone most of us know has passed away. Dustin Downs was a UPS truck driver and apparently he somehow lost control of his delivery truck and was involved in an accident that took his life. For those of you who may not recognize his name, Dustin drove a white 4th gen Ram that was a tribute to his father. I know that he and Tim were very good friends so please keep Timmy in your thoughts as well as Dustin's family and other friends.
RIP Dustin Downs.

Oh wow... I was just thinking about him the other day, wondering where he's been. That's so tragic.. Thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

Thanks for the post Dave.
He has been a huge help to me over the past few years with my truck, and an even better friend. He was always willing to come over and help with something and I spent some good times in his garage too. I will definitely miss having him around. He was over about a month ago and I am very thankful now that he made it, because I hadn't seen him for a few months before that.

This is terrible... I had hoped to get to meet him after hearing several of y'all speak so highly of him. Family and friends are in my prayers

From Dustin's sister:
For all those that have been waiting to hear what's happening, we have set a date for services. It will be on August 17th at 11:00 in the auditorium of Graceway Baptist on 104th street, in between Penn and Western on the south side of the street. I am not sure what the exact address is right now but I can post that later if you guys need it. All friends and family are welcome to come and are also welcome to stay after wards and visit. I know I personally would love to meet his friends, hear stories, have a laugh, anything. If you have any other questions you can message me.
Landon and GPMM are going to set up a convoy if any truck guys would want to attend, just let me or Landon know so we can get you the details. Thanks!

We are meeting for breakfast at Furr's in Moore at 8:30 on Saturday. We are then going to caravan to the church and park on the west side of the lot as a group. It will be an informal service, the gpmm crew is wearing club shirts and the UPS guys are wearing their uniforms. Hopefully some of you guys can make it.

I think I have 1-2 extras. I gave the rest to the family. I will hold one for you and I have one for Al also.

Awesome! What do I owe you for that Landon?
You've got a paypal account right?

The family wanted people to make donations to the wounded warrior project in Dustin's honor. If you would rather Paypal me that is fine and I will make one lump sum donation. My PayPal is
[email protected] or the website is www.woundedwarriorproject.org

Just whatever you feel like donating, we did not set a price. Some have a couple dollars, some gave 15-20, just whatever you feel like.
