There's no benefit to longer shocks. The stock shocks limits the down travel of the suspension and the A arm almost touches the coil bucket as it is. Longer shocks will allow the A arm to smack the coil bucket if the suspension is in full droop. Unless you're offroading, the only time you will see this is when the truck gets jacked up or put on a lift, but there's still no need for longer shocks.

2" won't quite level it, it will be about 1/2 to 3/4" lower in front but will look level to the naked eye. Be careful with the 2.5" spacer, I have heard some complaints of a much harsher ride compared to 2".
