I'm saying I don't think it had enough movement to break the exhaust off like that

Dude, I don't see a hanger anywhere near the end of your previous exhaust setup...

Well, since you won't take my experience into consideration...you'll have to take my word for it. . I can assure you that a piece of stainless steel didn't just snap in two just because...

I'm not stating that the system should be rock solid either because that begets a whole 'nother set of problems, but the system has to move as a unit, not as seperate pieces. This is why factory pipes (and hi end exhaust systems) don't usually break.

Trust me it was there.... And I am taking your advice into consideration Al. Just gotta go with what I got for now though.

The company messaged me this morning and are sending a new muffler out today. So all is going to be well

that's weird it broke like that. something was messed up. I personallyknow those mufflers are pretty good, at least I believe they are. I had one my truck for a few years and never had any problems with it. hope this one lasts longer

When you get this new muffler add another hanger at the end of your tailpipe going the same direction as the one on the rear of the muffler (up and down). Install it without forcing the pipe into it or over to it so it holds the tailpipe from extra movement without adding stress to the joint where the pipe joins the muffler. That should help.
