carli and thuren both make a 3" kit you don't have to get the 6" one. I know a gooseneck will fit with a 3" kit

maybe you should call carli or thuren and get a good suspension under it if u want a better ride. honestly a solid axle 2500 is never going to ride that smooth. big heavy and made for towing and work...
