Now thinking about it, I actually think the magnet is built in to the bottom of the differential because that's the only place the piece magnatized to.

Yes it's solid, at first, I thought it was a bearing, but it fell off the top of the housing which is actually the bottom since it's flipped...

Ummm...

Can someone tell me what this is? I'm guessing it's the magnet that sits inside the differential housing, but look closer... It's bent up....
