suspension ? where do I post it ?

Did the McGaughys 2-4 lowering spring kit today. First thing is its HOT. but I ve had that itch since the kit got here. my question is I didnt use the track bar drop down bracket. I dont see why its needed and would just look nasty hanging down there, If I need to put it on I can just wanted to see from the experts if its needed? next question is where am I supposed to ask my questions on the site ? love the truck lowered, looks great, rides better then before, next is a rear stablizer bar. have a great weekend everyone. see ya T.J.

Some drop kits don't come with one so its not really required but I would still install it. It will keep you axle centered side to side. Right now your axle is shifted about 1" to one side.

I hear you on it being hot! I've got some lift stuff in the garage but its too damn hot to install it!

I moved it for you, its where its supposed to be now. And you got any pics of the truck lowered?

A inch to one side ? how did the happen when it had a track bar from the factory? I ll get it on there now. well soon I am to hot to play with it today. is it cool to drive it like this ? thanks for the info and help.

It won't hurt anything but it will look funny. The problem is that when you dropped the truck is changed the geometry on the track bar, which moved your axle. The bracket will re-center it.

Can't wait to see pics!

The axle slides to the right a little bit, I can hardly notice the shift on mine, but if you don't want the bracket....I'll take it :)

This is how I am fixing my BellTech kit
