2009+ Custom painted / projector'd lights
Time to get these out of the garage. ;)
I bought these off of another member back in October, ran them until I swapped the 13s into the truck. So, details: 2009+ OEM Dual headlights Morimoto Mini D2S projectors Apollo Shrouds Custom painted with "crackle" type paint - not sure what it was exactly, but its pretty damn close to mineral gray. Brand New Morimoto D2S HID kit, your choice of 4300, 5 or 6K bulbs - complete with Ram wiring harness (same kits I sell for $170) Please note, the pass side projector is about 10-15 degrees out of rotation. Nothing crazy, it didn't bother me running them for 6 months. But, disclosing that! Price? $425 shipped in the US. Wish I could get those to mount up in my 2003.....any ideas on how to make it work???
|
not without some extensive fender modifications....
|
How do the dual lights work in quad light trucks? How do they hook up?
|
easy.
you'll have a harness that goes to your H13 connector on the truck, which will power the lights. Turns are the same on both. a VERY easy swap. |
keep in mind, the duals and quads are swappable.
Dodge made it easy. Each truck has the same wiring. On the duals, that wiring connects to a H13 bulb (in stock form that is). On a quad equipped truck that wiring connects to a wiring loom that goes into the heads. Inside the headlight it switches to H11/9005. But, same connector at the truck - H13. So, yeah - easy easy easy. |
Very nice! I didn't know if it needed some hard wiring or an adapter. Thanks Jeremy

no problemo!
So, you want 'em? LOL |
I like the retro sets, but there is something about regular black '13 sport lights!
|
yeah, I hear ya man! I'm rockin' chromes right now.........I should have cracked 'em this weekend....but the painter is busy, so that defeats that.
