R/T bit the dust

Well boys I ran a 13.4 spinning thru 2nd on a 125 shot. The bad tranny started acting up on way home. And then a Nissan Titan came up beside me at a stoplight and said he could outrun me flipped bottles back on and murdered him. And then lost all gears :( limped it home from noble to Ponca in third gear cause all I have. Well kits coming off so it can go to the dealership for warranty now lol

Dang man!! That sad to hear!

ramthis9501 05-19-2012 11:07 AM

Dude that blows... Hope you can get it fixed

BMRbrnSNRbrd 05-19-2012 08:31 PM

Damn dude. I've seen a lot of evidence that the stock trans is only strong enough to take the stock hp or very little more...sorry to see that.

fastnnuffrt 05-19-2012 09:28 PM

Yea the was a post I read on some site saying they were good for 500rwhp well that shoulda been somewhere in neighborhood of 460 and didn't handle it lol

okcoalroler99 05-20-2012 03:13 AM

thats what happens atleast its under warrenty i always try to build the tranny first and then the power and now thats why i have a 6sp lol no tranny worries

fastnnuffrt 05-20-2012 05:50 AM

Yea o well couldn't handle it and it pisses me off lucky I like the truck or I'd trade it off for a gm that can handle the shot. I'll have a pillar pod for sale before to long

Graygoose 05-21-2012 10:05 AM

good luck man!

fastnnuffrt 05-21-2012 11:12 AM

Tha ks man. I'm gonn focus on making it show worthy and build a Chevy single cab 6.0 Cammed on bottle! I'm thinking about putting a couple subs in my truck and idea for quality to match the alpine system that's in it

fast_Orange 12-11-2012 12:35 AM
