Wheel bummer
So I just got off the phone with broken arrow powder coating and they said that sand blasting chrome wheels would leave undesired dimples on the wheels after powder coating. He said he would do it for 100 a wheel but he wasnt to excited. I dont want my wheels to look like shit so now im hesitant. I guess its plastidio frownie face

It'll still look good

Find a media blaster. I believe sand is rough on soft surfaces but media blasting won't have the same ill effects.

Interesting... They didn't seem to have a problem sand blasting my chrome bumpers...
|
That is what I was thinking morgan

I was going to ask when what it would take to do my wheels when I pick up the bumpers. Mine are just regular aluminum rims not chrome though...
|
I have read that the chrome can be removed chemically but im sure its expensive

I plasti dipped mine first but it was too dull IMO. I removed it and went with wheel paint from Oreillys
|
^^ That might be an idea
