ramthis9501 04-26-2012 12:42 PM

Awesome man, sounds like some good plans. Any plans on doing anything to the outside like wheels?

DoubleTakeDodge 04-26-2012 12:57 PM

Nice! Welcome to the ORC!

rvarela 04-26-2012 01:32 PM

nice truck! welcome to orc!

Randall488 04-26-2012 01:48 PM

na im just gonna keep the stockers, i like the way they look and they'll balance 35's well. the running boards and bug deflector are definatly gone tho.

DoubleTakeDodge 04-26-2012 02:25 PM

35s on 17s look good, that's what my setup is. Good to see another sclb 2nd gen

Randall488 04-26-2012 02:35 PM

i've only owned regular cabs, i dont like short beds and a long bed with anything else is too long.

DoubleTakeDodge 04-26-2012 02:37 PM

I used to have a pretty customized short bed 3rd gen up until mid january. I had owned it since i was 15 and put ALOT into it. I like short beds on 2wd street trucks but a 4x4 definitely needs to be longer

Randall488 04-26-2012 02:44 PM

agreed, it just looks out of porportion with a short bed up high. i've had my hands on a couple street trucks but i like the mud too much. that and power can be made in anything with decent cubes.

DoubleTakeDodge 04-26-2012 02:52 PM

That's true. Here's a couple pics of my old truck.

Welcome

LowRam 04-26-2012 05:28 PM

welcome to the site, good luck with your truck, do you plan to lower it or lift it any?

swirvin21 04-26-2012 11:21 PM

glad you made it over here!!

BMRbrnSNRbrd 04-26-2012 11:57 PM

Hey man, sorry I am just now getting in here. Take care of that truck. I can guarantee that selling it will be a regrettable moment later. Sounds like you've got some great plans for it though!

Randall488 04-27-2012 09:09 AM

its gonna get 3" progressive rate coil springs up front and mini paks in the back to get rid of the lift blocks. gonna git some resivioured shocks. full roll cage in the bed under the camper shell and gonna brace the front end too.. im just goin for a street legal pre runner (baja truck)

myoung84 04-27-2012 09:49 AM

Welcome to ORC! I haven't seen too many V-10s. Definitely something worth hanging on to.

Lt.Dan 04-27-2012 10:14 AM

Hell yeah dude. I love prerunners

Randall488 04-27-2012 01:24 PM

yeah the 8.0's are a semi rare engine, it only had a 10 year run and without it the viper might not of been. the way i see it the muscle truck craze is gonna take off in the next 20 years or so and it will appriciate in value. that and a 10 cylender symphany sounds O so badass
