Very nice!

David, what year and bed length? I don't feel like doing much work this morning, I'll see if I can do some price shopping.

2011 F150 Crew Cab (5.5'?) It's the shortest bed available from Ford.

OklaHemi 09-30-2011 11:01 AM

ill be out there in a minute.

(S.M.R) 101 09-30-2011 11:02 AM

prolly next week.. I have a concert to go to saturday Aaron Lewis and Blake Shelton.. I want to run all new pipe from the headers back and im prolly going to have it dumped after the rear axel.. I'm tired of seeing exhaust sticking out from the back of the truck.

My next mod is Headers and a CAI of some kind... Any suggestions on a set of headers?

OklaHemi 09-30-2011 11:05 AM

pacesetter LT

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-30-2011 11:10 AM

Definitely LT if you want top speed power...I, however, am one of the few that loved my mid-lengths from Doug Throley (the "Tri-Y's). My buddy I bought them from had them before a full Pacesetter setup and still liked the torque of the Tri-Y's better...just saying...you will use the power of LT's more if you like to run on the track, but I think mid-length (on 3rd gens) is better for the street.

(S.M.R) 101 09-30-2011 11:10 AM

Long tube.....

don't you have to move the cats back if you run LT's?

Was reading a few threads where people had some problems wit the LT's for the Hemi's

eBay is the lowest I found. $634 shipped.

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-30-2011 11:11 AM

Shit yeah, thanks M.

myoung84 09-30-2011 11:12 AM

For the street, I would go with shorties or mids.

(S.M.R) 101 09-30-2011 11:12 AM

Gott a link D.?

(S.M.R) 101 09-30-2011 11:22 AM

Thoughts?

myoung84 09-30-2011 11:34 AM

Damn, why can't they make cheaper headers for 4th gens? I'd drop $250 on mids or shorties in a heart beat.

That's a freaking steal dude! I would put those on the CC if they had them for the 4th gen...see if you can find a matching y-pipe.

Matt 09-30-2011 11:55 AM

any specific you're going over the exhaust if you're going to dump it?

(S.M.R) 101 09-30-2011 12:59 PM

I'm looking for a Y pipe now.. was looking at the magnaflow Y pipe.

Matt I'm going to dump it "after" the rear axel

(S.M.R) 101 09-30-2011 01:00 PM

Headers have been orderd!

i know that's what i'm asking is why you're going over the axle and dumping it after vs before the axle bc i imagine the muffler is going to be before the axle so your "dump" is going to go up and over the axle and then down ... or am i confused ?

abn1985 09-30-2011 02:11 PM

Damnit i need to figure mine out soon its bugging the shit out of me!

(S.M.R) 101 09-30-2011 03:03 PM

yes over the rear axel and then dumped.. I'll have it brought over the rear axel high and when it starts it's bend down i'll prolly go 3 or 4 inches and cut off the rest.

(S.M.R) 101 09-30-2011 03:04 PM

I'm just tired of seeing the exhaust outlet at the rear of the truck, just looks out of place.

That's why I just cut mine back to where it's just over the axle, made it a little louder to which I like

free custom made 3" y pipe if u want it, I'm not going to be using it,

nightmatt 09-30-2011 08:26 PM

3" mandrel bend stainless steel exhaust pipe. haven't decided if I'm going to sell that yet or not

BMRbrnSNRbrd 09-30-2011 09:39 PM

When I ran the Doug Thorleys they came with their own pipe...maybe "crossover pipe" is a better term to use...they were flanged to bolt directly to the headers and were shaped like a "Y" to move the exhaust all to the passenger side to run it the rest of the way back.

(S.M.R) 101 11-08-2011 03:42 PM

On a side note....... I just had my AT3030 installed! And I Fucking love it..

I'll get some videos up tonight...

Still haven't found a shop to throw my headers on but I'm still liking for a shop that will do it

ramthis9501 11-08-2011 04:41 PM

Sweet! Can't wait to see the video, wonder if it sounds similar to Mike's.

(S.M.R) 101 11-08-2011 05:07 PM

I don't think Mike's is the 3030XL but he does have the AT3030.. I'm sure he'll chime in

BMRbrnSNRbrd 11-08-2011 09:48 PM

If you were here we could knock the headers out in a couple hours.

(S.M.R) 101 11-08-2011 10:20 PM

Yeah that would be awesome dude... if I could get some help I'd do it but have had no luck lately
