Magnaflow

Another vote for Magnaflow...I like the nice mellow tone. Add an e-cutout for those...noisy...moments.

abn1985 09-29-2011 03:30 PM

I want something thats deep and throaty!

myoung84 09-29-2011 03:39 PM

Magnaflow 14" dumped before the axle. That will be plenty deep and throaty.

so one vote for mellow one vote for deep and throaty however it's the same muffler ?? lol

i'm that old school guy who owns stock in flowmaster lol i've probably bought a dozen 40 series throughout my life .. i love the sound but i do admit it's quite raspy on the top side

if you dump it it will be really deep and throaty... but if you run full exhaust it will be more mellow... dumped vs full exhaust is 2 totally different sounds

i got that i just thought there might be a difference of mufflers or something too ... i don't mind the resonance inside the cab so i've always dumped mine but my 05 had it out the back

(S.M.R) 101 09-29-2011 04:19 PM

yeah I had 2 single chamber flowmaster's on my 04 that were dumped.. I won't do that shit again.. But I also spend way more time in my truck than the average person so it tends to get on my nerves a little more.

But when I get a 2nd truck I will prolly dump this AT3030XL that i shouldbe getting saturday.

joe if you want we can meet up and you can hear my truck. i have the aero turbine 3030 and no cats(which i dont suggest). i ran one on my 05 as well will the cats in place and loved it.

I love my Cherry Bomb extreme..deep and throaty with no drone.

fast_Orange 11-26-2011 03:52 PM

What series magnaflow?
I've got a dumped bullet and I Would really love louder an deeper out of my exhaust. The bullet kinda gets raspy.

Check out my exhaust videos dude... AT3030XL dumped after the rear axle and I love it. It's deep and sounds awesome.
