Thanks for all the compliments guys. I probably wont get a chance to work on it again till this weekend. Im gonna try to get the rest of the front end finished up. Shocks mounted battery relocated. Stuff like that. All the little shit that takes up a lot of time. Ill post some pics this weekend with some updates hopefully.

Nice buddy, I remember the other truck now.
What are you driving as a daily? |

Heres a few pics of the progress done this weekend.
Relocated this brake manifold thing. I have no idea what it does I just built some brackets for it and reran the brake lines. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...red22z/052.jpg http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...red22z/051.jpg http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...red22z/053.jpg Then I was able to finally finish my battery tray and relocate the battery. It didnt quite turn out like I wanted but its ok. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...red22z/050.jpg http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...red22z/049.jpg Then I was able to get the driver side shock mounted. I still need to do the passenger side and move the brake line to the drive side caliper. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...red22z/053.jpg |
Very nice man! Looks like quality work. Can't wait to see it all done!

i want to do something radical to my truck, sice it has become less of a family vehicle since we bought the Z. I want to get a 4 door jeep soon but i promised chrissy and the kids i would build them a new house first. back to the truck, i have thought about stroking it(awe yeah) but i have always wanted a properly bagged, completely shaved ram. hmmmm go fast or looks? i have the Z to go fast? how much does a set up run Total? i can turn wrenches but i cant weld, i have access to welders though.
|
Go fast! :D
|
it would cost a lot of time and money to make my truck come close to the stock Z. i dont go to the tracks so that is a pipe dream(not Kyles kind either). i have even thought about ditching the vararam to someone that may actually want it for something other than looks.

HP>>>>>glamour
|
I say make it pretty then fast...I rode in the Z...you've got all you need for now.

Looking good. Are your tierods the same angle as your lca's? From the picture it's hard to tell but it looks like they are flatter than your lca's.
