Did a little white plasti dipppin' tonight! So far so good, just need to add another couple coats tomorrow then add the glossifyer...

Got the grille back on and I'm sad to say the plasti dip is going to be removed. It's not a close enough color match for me to be satisfied. There goes $40...

Can they paint over the fake plastic chrome? I can probably swing the paint but can't buy a new primered grille right now. Just spent almost $1500 at the tag office today!

I imagine they could do it. I painted mine with a rattle can and it came out decent, so I imagine the paint guy could make it look good with the right stuff.

same stuff that's in the headlights i bet so yeah i bet if you scotchbright it it'll come up

on a side note a guy came into the shop today with grill/insert and badges done in plasti-dip and that's the first time i've seen it in person and honestly i can't say that i'm impressed at all it looks way better in pictures imo

I'll swing by a couple of body shops tomorrow if I have time and see what they say. The white pd is off, took all of 10 seconds...
