i know that's what i'm asking is why you're going over the axle and dumping it after vs before the axle bc i imagine the muffler is going to be before the axle so your "dump" is going to go up and over the axle and then down ... or am i confused ?

yes over the rear axel and then dumped.. I'll have it brought over the rear axel high and when it starts it's bend down i'll prolly go 3 or 4 inches and cut off the rest.

I'm just tired of seeing the exhaust outlet at the rear of the truck, just looks out of place.

That's why I just cut mine back to where it's just over the axle, made it a little louder to which I like

3" mandrel bend stainless steel exhaust pipe. haven't decided if I'm going to sell that yet or not

When I ran the Doug Thorleys they came with their own pipe...maybe "crossover pipe" is a better term to use...they were flanged to bolt directly to the headers and were shaped like a "Y" to move the exhaust all to the passenger side to run it the rest of the way back.
