Well changed my mind on this... Im happy with my performance tune for now, so maybe one day I'll do it. Dont feel like ripping into the engine just for that

You wouldnt want me to... cause that would just help me smoke your truck even more! :D

Im on the fence about this now... the intake is all clean now just sitting here... I know I wont be able to get much if anything out of it if I sell it. So should I do it?

Another thing Im wondering is will I be able to reuse my brand new bolts I just put on in July to hold the manifold and plenum on again?

And honestly, I dont really mind pulling apart the motor again... I had fun doing it last time lol

as long as the bolts are torque to yield bolts you can reuse them

ramthis9501 04-06-2012 11:31 PM

They are the bolts from Hughes so they should be torque to yield right?

Matt 04-06-2012 11:33 PM

i don't know what hughes is .. do you know what a tty bolt is? did you use a torque wrench when installing them? a tty bolt you torque to x about of lbs and then another half turn or whatever it calls for and it basically stretches a bit and after that you cannot reuse them ( well .. you're not supposed to)
