My stupid knee

Long story short, my knee popped really bad a couple weeks ago and it's been killing me. It's been doing this for a few years, but this last time was the worst it's ever been. It happens when I am squatting down and stand up. Finally went to the doc today and it looks like it's most likely a torn meniscus and will probably require surgery... I'll have an MRI early next week to confirm...

I was hoping to get out on the wakeboard this weekend but I guess that's not going to happen...

Same thing with my knee. I was supposed to have surgery a long time ago but I never did and every time I say I'm going I end up not going. So I just deal with the pain.

Got the MRI done today. Follow up appointment next Tuesday. I'll be glad to find out what the hell is actually wrong.

Yeah, I was the same way with my back. Nervous that they would want to cut but relieved to finally know what was up.

Nothing like this. Had my wisdom teeth surgically removed, which they put me under for, and had quite a few staples and stitches in my head.

It's really not all that bad... Yeah it can be scary at first, but once you get there, it'll be pretty easy. Especially if the doctor gives you some medicine before you go in to surgery, it calms down the nerves lol

And I'm saying this from past experience

Tell your pre-op nurse if you are nervous. I didn't have my first surgery, at all, until I was 25 when I had my broken nose fixed. I was honestly scared to go under. I told my pre-op nurse and she gave some GOOD shit. I didn't give a damn what they were going to do.

Surgery went great. All things considered, I'm doing pretty good. I'm able to walk around a little to go to the bathroom and what not. Doc said I should be back in business by this weekend.

Thanks guys! It's been a pretty good day. I hope tomorrow is at least as good as today has been. I'm actually getting around fairly well on my cruthes.

Took the bandages off this morning and finally took a shower! Pain isn't too bad but still having to get around on crutches. I can put weight on it and it doesn't really hurt but it feels pretty damn weird. Here's some pics for your enjoyment! First two are immediately after taking the bandages off and the third is after my much needed shower. Still a little swollen but hopefully my ice pack takes it down some.
