Well I finally got what I've been wanting for so long... a hardtop tonneau cover!!

Yes it does look a little rough but we'll be painting it soon along with the rest of the truck!

And no I'm not keeping it on the truck, just have it on there since thats how we got it home. I cant wait to get it done and on the truck for good!

Yeah I found this one instead which was alot better choice. And I paid $275, the guy would barely budge off his $300 asking price. Still think I picked it up pretty cheap.

Call me crazy, but I already got half of it sanded down tonight... going to do the rest tomorrow. Then hopefully get it shot with primer on Tuesday or Wednesday.

On another note, anyone know of a good locksmith or somewhere I can get a key made for the lock on it?

damn wasting no time! lol! i know a place on sw 59th st by 240. its called tech-loc. we get a lot of our keys there. might be worth to check it out.

The cover is completely sanded down and ready for primer! Hopefully we'll be able to shoot it tomorrow and have it on the truck by Wednseday or Thursday at the latest :D

Nope... only 16 more days and its over with! After I get out, I'll start tear down on the truck and start sanding on it. Hoping to have it painted and done with by the end of the month, maybe first of June at the latest.

Think I'm pretty much set on doing some type of a gun metal gray gloss

I loved the graphite metallic paint on my 04. It was a little darker than the current mineral gray.

Primer is officially laid down!! It looks awesome to! Gonna let it dry, then get it installed on the truck tomorrow :D

No doubt dude, I feel alot better about it to. My dad is awesome and can do just about anything. He shot the 87 Corolla he has as a gas saver last night to and it looks just as good. I cant wait to get started on my truck!
