So I'm thinkin about when these mud grapplers wear out, dropping the truck 3" by taking the body lift off and puttin 35" tires on it. Like a really aggressive all terrain or maybe dune grapplers. Any opinions? And overall it'll make the truck faster (which I don't need!!!) Lol.

I say drop it down onto just the 5" suspension lift. Won't be as monsterous but still be freakin nice!

I just don't know what kind of tire to go with. I love the way the mud grapplers look. But would like to be able to hear the damn radio lol and not yell.

Plus I'll actually be able to pull our goosenecks and need a durable tire.

well he means dropping it from where it is to only a 5" lift lol. But I'm slowly gettin my buddy w/ the red cummins to join. Its on street tires now (the nittos off my old truck) and he's gonna lower it sometime i'm pretty sure. here are some newer pics of his rig:

those wear terrible i looked into them bc i love the look of them but i have a friend and an acquaintance and neither truck are wearing good

if you want something really agressive/ semi quiet / good wear i would only buy 3 tires
pro comp extreme mt's - fav
toyo open country mt's - close second
and nitto trail grapplers - good reviews on them

all 3 fit those needs better than the competition imo

and going from 35's to 37s made a huge jump in how much truck ran so you'll be a lot quicker with 35s

I've had the trail grapplers before and they were just as loud as the mud grapplers but still a really good tire

I like the nitto trail grapplers personally. Its considered a mud terrain but they get the mileage of an all terrain and they arent noisy. The toyo open country MTs are nice too but high. The nitto TG is about the same tread pattern but usually tend to go more mileage. they are available in 10ply too so GN trailers are no bid deal. A buddy of mine runs a set of 37s on his 250 with em.
