I finally ordered the amp kit, hi/low converter, and bass knob I needed to install the 12s in my truck...now I just have to hurry up and wait.

Shit man, I swapped my HU today..........the new one has a 4V out, WOW, amazes me the difference in that one over the old 2V. I was seriously thinking of getting 2 subs........I don't need to now. :D

Finally got my stuff in but realized I goofed....I only ordered one RCA cable instead of two. Now I can either pay the $3 for another and drive all the way to Edmond to pick it up, pay an additional $6 to have it shipped, or pay like $20+ for it locally....damnit.

Gotcha..I was just looking for one like the one I ordered. I can get it for $3 and locally it's $24. I guess I'll have one good cable and one cheaper one.

Right. For some damn reason it's an individual and not a pair.

You should have a pair coming from the line out converter to the bass knob then another pair from the bass knob to the amp. Is this how you are hooking it up?

Actually, I got a PAC converter that has a built in knob...so that wires into the factory harness and then just one pair of RCAs to the amp.

OIC. So the cable you ordered is a single cable not a pair? If that's the case, I would just pick up a new cable (pair) from Walmart. They'll be fine for a sub.
