Got the Vararam in today and my first impression was that it's HUGE. I couldn't believe the size of the box it came in and then the unit itself is enormous.
Took longer to install than I thought it would but I went a little further on the install by not only removing the factory air box but also it's mounting bracket. It freed up a TON of space on the passenger side...so much so that I'm debating getting some air horns to install in that area.
Box and un-packaging:

Before with all the factory stuff:

Installed (BTW, it's not crooked anymore, I adjusted it some more):

The now completely open passenger side (sorry for the blurriness...it was dark and cold):

The stuff I wasn't so happy with...the unit does seem a bit flimsy when mounted, but I think it's because the only area that it's actually attached is to the throttle body via a silicone hose...I'm debating fabbing up something to more solidly mount it.
The only other thing is that it made my hood harder to close, but I'm sure that's due to the gasket along the top that actually seals the unit against the hood and will most likely get easier with time.
