Hey fellas I really appreciate all the well wishes.

The surgery went good, the pain I was feeling before is completely gone. The only thing I've had an issue with since the operation was a constant headache and nausea. My brother (who is a nurse and has done a HELL of a job taking care of me) said the headache and sickness were due to the meds pumped into me on Monday.

As of this morning the headache and sickness are gone and now I've just got a stiff back and a little pain at the surgical site. I have lortab on hand but I'm not going to take them unless it gets really bad...the hardest thing to do is wear this damn corset thing that keeps my back straight...I want so badly to bend and move.

Again, I really appreciate all the well wishes. That was very nice to see when I got on here. Thanks guys.

Do yourself a favor and take the lortab before PT.

So far they haven't said anything about PT. I don't have another appointment until the 29th when they pull the staples out. I'll ask about it but they've never mentioned physical therapy once.

hmm i wonder what they will have you do for PT if any

I'm hoping because of my age and that I've gotten in much better shape lately that I won't have to do much. The specialist did tell me that I was exceptionally young for this type of surgery, but that it did happen. I'll ask him on the 29th if he's going to have me do anything at all.
