What do you guy think? A lot of people are saying this is going to be a close one with OU on top at the end...but that's what they said last year and we scalped them Seminoles.

I don't think they'll have any problem, OU looked pretty good against Tulsa, which isn't saying to much... lol but I think they'll pull out on top

Anyone who thinks our game against Tulsa is any indication of what FSU is going to be is insane. We play FAR better at home (do we still hold the NCAA record?) than on the road. The main thing we HAVE to do that worked last year is knock them on their heels off the jump. If we don't get them stumbling within the first or second possession we're going to have problems.

Personally I think it's going to be close and most likely cause my blood pressure to spike. I'm one of the biggest OU fans out there (through the good and bad) but I am also a realist. Our biggest problem over the last three or more years has been getting a big head....and what do you think the outcome of last year's FSU game is going to do for our ego?

ou is 4-7 in the last 11 against top 10 teams and also this is a completely different team with the option qb that they have vs last years team ... while i think fsu is a little over-rated at the 5 spot i think ou doesn't fair well away from home against big teams .... this should be a tough game

As much as it pains me to say so, you're spot freaking on man...I don't think we've faired well against option qbs either.

fsu has a BIG ole o-line too you might see them running the ball regularly ...

that would be crazy to take ou -14 there's no way it should be that big of a blow-out ...

Two weeks to prepare. They've got that swagger..

Swagger is what gets our ego pumped up and gets us in trouble. Don't get me wrong...I'm pulling for a blow out but I just don't see it.

And they called a personal on OU, they didn't hit helment to helment, they both dropped their shoulders. That was a hometown call

I can understand being pissed he got hit and hurt...but if that had been one player hitting him and he STILL got knocked out it woudn't have been called. Shit, it's not like they said "let's sandwich him and knock him out next play." Sure, it sucks (for him :D) but it was a clean hit....welcome to FOOTBALL!

good game on both sides great defense both ways ... fsu freshman qb played his ass off needs to hit the weight room and eat some red meat though lol .... overall i think this game was closer than the score shows ... couple plays here and there and it's easily tied ou played better on defense then i expected

I still hate Landry Jones...he can't play under pressure and he only knows how to run the play called...he can't change the play on the fly. How many times did you see him throw a ball to someone either under direct pressure or already tied up with someone. The only reason he came out looking decent was Kenny Stills.

just a little IMHO but i think it would do the sooners well to pick a play and stick with it. one of the games that sticks out in my mind is the last bcs championship. it seems they changed the play on the line every freaking time and they played horribly. i fully understand an audible but you need confidence in your team to know they can win. i dont see that in the big games

Sorry to abandon the thread, had some personal shit come up...I did watch the game, at least most of it. I missed the big hit tho.

Landry is not a leader on the field like his coach was. I don't think Landry has the deep knowledge of the game that Heupel had as QB.

well looks like there won't be a pac 16 and most people think it's bc of the longhorn network
