Got my Liquid Mask :)

Started coating the 2011 tailgate badge last night so I can paint match it.....looks pretty smooth so far. I am going to put a few more layers on it when I get home and try to find some more PS2 Perfect Match paint for tomorrow! Any one going to Double Daves tomorrow night??? I have my 20s back on :)

And to switch topics real quick....how do I get the nut off the top of the antenna base so I can paint it??? The three prong deal..

Needle nose pliers and just twist like a normal nut...it's really on there though.

So what do you do? Coat the entire thing and then trim off what you want painted?

Painted and cleared! As soon as it dries, I will pull off the mask and reveal my handy work!!!! Just barely beat the rain......antenna base is now on hold :)

Nice! What exactly is the mask for again?

You cover the whole thing with the mask...and cut out the ares you want to paint! When it's dry, peel off the mask and you have finished product!

Dude if it gives you clean lines I may have to re-do my rear badge...I keep saying I'm going to re-do it, but my plan is to just have it shaved eventually.

Not on the plastic.....the paint pulled up off the primer which is weird
