My only advice on programers to date is stay far far away from hypertech. Can you get one at an accessory shop and return it within 30 days?

Uhh, where do you live? I live in Wichita Falls, TX, but come up to OKC regularly. I have a Superchips 3815 (still!!). I don't recall seeing a fuel economy difference on the 87 tune, but I do get another 1.5 mpg from the 91 tune...it dials in more ignition advance. Only tried the MPG tune on one tank, then went back to the 91 perf tune. I like it! Both the 87 and 91 tunes gave better drivability. Superchips also tweaks the tranny programming a bit; the newer 3865 even lets you do custom tranny programming.
