was thinking about bringing the rear of the truck down a bit not looking for a 2/4 drop just want to bring the back down to match the front.

What could I do?

Just get some 2" drop shackles. I ran them for a while on my 04. Very easy to install.

Those are what you want, but go through someone else...that business is all but dead.

All you are doing is unbolting the back of your leaf springs and replacing the factory shackle with those.

sweet.. Where should I order from?

If your gonna order them (cheapest route) I recommend stylintrucks.com

If you dont mind paying a lil more you can buy em over the counter in Norman. Go see John at Auto Accessories Unlimited at Indian Hills Rd and I35. 405-360-8855 They usually have them in stock and are about 20 bucks or so more then if you were to oder them but no waiting for shipping. They can do the install as well. Very good shop. They do a ton of high dollar work out of there.

Hey you use AAU also? My dad and the owner are pretty good friends. I did all of the cctv install there when the building was built.

Just note that you won't get a full 2" drop. I only got about 1.75" with mine. Also when you install them, don't tighten the bolt all the way until you have the truck back on the ground. Also helps to have a couple heavy friends in the bed while tightening everything.

This is what slammed1 (Brian in Ft Smith) told me years ago when I bought them from him. Not sure who on here knows him, he hasn't been around in a while. He also installed my gears for me. I wish he was still doing this...

Do you happen to have his number or email address? I used to have it but have gone through multiple phones and lost it along the way. I would like to get a hold of him and see if he's interested in doing a gear swap for me maybe first of next year.

I used to work for them. I workd for them for about a year when I moved up here from FL. I only left cause I got a better job at Tinker. I loved working for AAU. Great bunch of guys and alot of fun. Plus good hook ups.
