Custom Tag

So I put the application in the mail today to get a custom tag. It's going to be a silver/grey tag and it's going to say "SMOKE" The name of my truck now :D Thanks to Dave for coming up with the name. Guess it's going to take about 4 months to get it though but oh well, as long as I get it!

Ha, don't hold ur breath dude, mine took way longer then that to get, it took like 7 months, don't know y lol but they were super slow on mine. I had forgot about it and then one day it was here.

No... I hope it isn't... If I called OTC tomorrow, would they be able to look it up?

I called a while back and they were able to look up tags for me. The guy was kind of rude and acted like I was distracting him from his nap, but I pay a lot of money every year to the OTC so I don't feel bad. Not sure what number I called but I know I got transferred a dozen times until I got to the right department. This will save a lot of trouble thinking up new plate names for all the alternates.

Ok thanks Morgan, I'll call them tomorrow. If it's taken I'm gonna have to send in a new application. What's something else I could put on there if it came to that?

Well damn it's taken. So I'm thinking of something like Dave came up with or what about like SMOKE95 or SMOKE01? I just thought of that so I'm gonna call back and see if one of those is taken.

Yes! Smoke01 and Smoke95 are both available so they're gonna send me another paper next week, I'll put my choice on there and send it back in. I'm leaning towards Smoke01 right now. What do you all think?

Here's a visual for you. I like HEMIPWR as well... The font isn't exactly what OTC uses, but it's the closest I had.
