Just got finished with my "custom" tailgate handle......Thanks to Dave for the inspiration!



Paint matched with DupliColor Perfect Match PS2 paint....looks awesome from 5 feet away! Up close, a little rough.....really hard to paint inside the pocket, but it is also very hard to see unless you are on a knee right behind the gate Enjoy!!

Yeah, on the primer and a little on the silver...I couldn't get the 2 pieces apart to do a good job....suck :) Like I said though, looks pretty sweet from 5 feet :)

I intentionally left mine rough under the grab handle so that when I grab for it I don't want my small scratches left there to drive me crazy.

I spent most of the time sanding the outside and left the pocket alone :)
