I'm considering an upgrade to my current sucking halogen off road/ driving lights.
I've read some reviews on certain styles of lamps and am told they use less power than halogens, but that they could reduce ones radio to pure static.

Would like some insight. Do they use less power? Can they cause a radio issue? Can one use a filter to avoid RF noise?

Thanks

Never heard of LEDs causing noise. They do consume a lot less power and are bright as hell (the goods ones anyways). Most all of the LED light bars are using Cree LEDs. What kind of lights are you looking at?

Yes...probably something like these to replace my little 55 watt driving lights...

And these to replace my 6 inch 100 watt bulbs...

I'm hoping these would plug into my existing harnesses.

Those should work pretty good.
