Guys, I'm positive that's not the case. The "trophy" I built was for Landon to check out. Unfortunatly we did not make contact today. So if you fellas like the look all will be done that way.

I am building 3 first place trophies for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen classes, and if there are more than 5 trucks to a class there will be a 2nd place trophy...it will have a smaller emblem. I have enough wood cut to do that...:crazy: because there should be at least 5 entires in the 4th gen class. Shyte...I stlill have to make 4 more trophies for the modded trucks...OH ****!

I'm also building a 1st gen and classic truck trophies which won't be near as large or ornate. SO there will be plenty of truck trophies this year.

Also as far as I know...and it should be so...you can only enter one class. If I'm allowed to judge the trucks...there won't be any crossovers. Besides, I'm not enthralled with SRT 10 trucks...maybe that will balance out the judging.

Well for starters.. Remember that big hail storm in may? Yeah I made it to the car wash in time to miss the big stuff but I got a few dings outta the deal and my PDR guy is backed up until god knows when, secondly, a bird decided to fly into my grille about a month ago and I haven't had the time or money to pick up a new one due to moving and getting married aaaand my air dam is falling off one clip at a time. Not to mention the fact that I'm supposed to work that weekend. So my attendance is possible but not likely... but I'm gonna try

That owuld be a question for Landon. I know there is an unclassified class, but I haven't been tasked with building a specific Dakota trophy.

For the drag racing you pay the normal fees at the gate, $10 to enter $5 for the test n tune band. then to enter the Gamblers race you pay $20 to us, and $10 for the reaction time contest if you want in on that.

There is not a Dakota specific class, mainly since there is only 1 dakota registered. We will probably end up with a MISC RAM class that we would include you in.

Some guy was texting an driving, he wound up on the wrong side of the road, I had to swerve into the opposite lane to avoid head on collision and he managed to dig his mirror into the side of my truck. Got a pretty good scratch down the door and part of the front fender and about a 4ft crease along with it's scratches in my bedside. Best part is, he took off and because I was on a narrow country road I wasn't able to get turned around in time to chase him down.

What happened is that I ordered some rims in from jegs that were drop shipped from the mfr. I ordered the wrong bolt pattern, totally my fault. Jegs was more that kind to return them. I had not mounted them...whew!

The problem starts when Jegs states that the replacement rims are in stock and they will ship Friday (19th). Friday I check my email and get a note stating that the wheels are NOT in stock and won't be BUILT until Sept 1st!

So I call Jegs, and they recheck and the date is correct. But...they have already charged my credit card! WHAT! Sorry, that may be the modern way of doing business but not in my world...so I canceled the order but have to wait to get my money.

To answer your 2nd question...I won't be parking in the show line so people won't be confused. I don't know how the park is set up but I'll be around the headquarters awnings with a big sign that says "not eligible" in my windshield. The doors will be closed, the hood down, and I'm debating on tire shine. :)

It was great hanging out with you guys and meeting the ones that I have not met yet. Was totally worth the 20 voyage to make it here.

I am pretty stoked about the awards since I have never received an actual trophy for it yet. Their was some great cars and trucks there today.

now when is everyone coming up for a meet in New York! Lol again it was awesome hanging out with everyone, even them Sapulpa boys :D

Haha good to see you too Kyle, always a pleasure adding a little Sapulpa flavor to your trips to Oklahoma lol :D . I'll have to see if next summer I'll have an opportunity to come up north. Be safe goin back man! And have fun pullin that cruiser!

It was good seeing everyone else too, hopefully this fall while my schedule is a little more lax I'll be able to make more of a presence around the city at some of the cars and coffee shows, etc.

Our dogs were waiting for us to get home and feed them and you can guess they got lots of extra attention.

I don't hang out at Fuddruckers much but if a bunch of you plan to attend I will be there. (sorry thier food makes me ill) If you want a good burger we'll drive down memorial about a mile to Fat Guys...that's a burger!

Our plans for next year include a bit more "away from Tulsa" shows and I'm hoping the Perkins show is a start. So maybe we'll see more of you around.

BTW Tim, I believe the Ram part of the trophy is the same color as your truck. And because it is automotive laquer you can wax it...:angels25:
