Mega Cab is going under the knife...

Well with 134,000 miles on it, my dad's mega cab decided to start acting up... The transmission has been slipping alot between 2nd and 3rd for the past couple weeks. Well, we changed the fluid in it on Christmas Eve and found a piece of metal about 3" long stuck to the magnet in the pan.

Luckily he has an extended powertrain warrenty on it, so we took it up to the dealership (Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge) today. There is a two week backup before they can even touch it, but more then likely, a brand new transmission will be going in :birgits_tiredcoffee

For the time being, they made sure to do right and gave him a nice truck!

Thought I'd update... Truck is still sitting in the shop, hasn't been touched. Called up on Friday, which was exactly 2 weeks and they said to wait another week... What a surprise. So hopefully by this coming Friday, they'll start work on it

Thought I'd close this one up, refurbished transmission by Dodge was installed and completed on Thursday. The truck is back and running!
