so i'll start with my quad ... yfz bought it brand new first year they came out rode it for a few years basically stock and then got the itch and stripped it down and fully did it up lol

been through several pipes and have a couple depending on what i'm doing
motor has a wr crank, oil mod, bored 2 mm so it's actually a 467cc, 14.2:1 compression flat top piston, ported head, +1 valves in the head, bored carb, ron woods in frame drag pipe (pug), painted plastics, powdercoated frame and accessories, drag cut wheels, and tripple buff sand tires i'm sure i'm missing a lot .... also have a +6 custom swingarm that needs to be put on with a aluminum drag axle here's a few pics ....

then i bought my first bike when i was 18 i had never drove on 2 wheels ever other than a bicycle ... so what do you hear people say? if you don't start out on a 600 you're going to kill yourself lol exaggerating maybe a bit here anyways i started out on a suzuki tl1000s '97 this was a fuel injected 1000 cc v-twin naked sportbike before they got super popular most people don't know much about this bike but it's a monster they had such a bad reputation when they came out for too much torque and too easily to wheelie that they actually had to neuter them in '98 i had a ton of fun on this bike i eneded up putting a lower fairing on it led turns/ integrated led in the rear hid headlight smoked double bubble full stainless dual d&d exhaust, k&n filter, and i also sewed up some alligator seats, and had some carbon fiber pieces here and there ...

now i have a 04 hayabusa ... plans for it include +6 swingarm, lowering it 2", swingarm holder for license plate, i've already had it painted a pearl artic white, and i'm going to add black mesh inserts in all the fairing gaps, black spikes hid's, led turns, and tails, and smoked lenses front and rear, undertail and a slash cut mid pipe (no exhaust cans), and i'll think up something crazy for the seats ....

I've got a '96 Honda Magna. It's just a little 750 but it was essentially my first bike. I just started doing anything to it. I've installed larger main jets and needle shims in the carbs, swapped out the mirrors, and just installed forward controls last week.

I plan on doing a flat black paint job, removing the rear inner fender which will require a new run/brake/turn setup and moving the license plate, and I'm thinking of doing something with the exhaust, but everything I've heard so far sucks.

It's not much, and I'm sure it's not fast compared to what a couple of you guys are riding, but I got an amazing deal on it and was able to pay cash for it. So far, the only mods have been cleaning it up, swapping out the mirrors for a more modern (read: not square) set, and adding forward controls:

Eh, it's ok. I really want to bring the rear down some...the fender is far too high above the tire. I've heard Honda VTX shocks will lower it as much as 2", which is about what I need. Plus they ride and look a lot better.

i've dumped almost 2grand into my busa since i've gotten it and rode it maybe 20 miles lol i've had parts at the painter for over 4 months now so i got antsy and jumped all over a cruiser that i found a killer deal on

it's a 2007 yamaha warrior raven 1700cc cobra pipes, rear led light integration only 5000 miles i'm going to have my buddy hand tool a custom leather seat, do some sort of drag bars with risers, and have my buddy at mik's artwerks do something to the paint.. either some sort of flame job or just some nice pinstriping .. it has some now but it's decals and i want the real deal and i'm debating on replacing the rear fender i don't like how it goes straight out the back instead of curving with the tire .. but for being my first crusier i love it handles great runs strong and still plenty quick being a 1700 ...

also have picked up a 2006 grizzly that an older man owned and is in pretty great shape it already has a winch on it and i took off the rear seat other than that i've just been riding it .. just recently bought some 14"/27" wheels/tires for it and a 6" led bar to mount to the handlebars and a 12" that will go on the front

Borrowed a jack and removed the front and rear wheels today. Tires should arrive today and I will have them mounted and bead balanced Saturday.

I also finally ordered what I need to ditch the horrible sealed beam headlight. I ordered this mount:

i put a 6" and 12" bar on my grizzly earlier to check fitment i've got to fab brackets for both but just checking it all out the 6" is mounted to the bars so it goes where you turn towards which i really want and love

I'd be leery of running a single HID on a bike unless you have some regular lights as backups. One of my mom's friends just died in bike wreck because his one and only light (Halogen) went out when riding at night. Went into a ditch and didn't make it back out. HIDs can be finicky sometimes, not something you want on a bike.

I have a high-low kit on my truck and did on my previous truck as well. They only have a single ballast. So if you get one with a slim ballast, there is a good chance it will fit. There is an additional relay, but is pretty small. I think it'd be worth doing!

And like Morgan said, HIDs are notorious for being temperamental at times, I wouldn't suggest running a setup that consists of a single fixed beam HID, just for safety reasons in case it does go off even one time

yeah big bummer is i tweaked the cage pretty good even though it has a bunch of extra support bars welded in ... so that just tells me the stock one wouldve popped like a tin can i think i have a buddy that can make me a cage out of 188 dom should do the trick lol even if it's way overkill
